Stepping away from politics and ignoring the media, the vast majority of Americans are happy with their everyday lives, FOX Business’ Stuart Varney argued in his latest “My Take.”

“Contrary to all the negativity splashed across our screens every day, Gallup found 84 percent of us satisfied with the overall quality of our lives,” Varney said.

After three years of Trump’s presidency, the country is feeling better about race relations, income distribution and opportunity, he added. It is the exact opposite of what Democrats and the media have been telling the American people, Varney argued.
“Truth is, the elites have been carried away by their hatred of President Trump in their urge to slime him. They’ve painted a picture of Americans—you and I—as unhappy, bigoted, stupid and bad. But the jig is up,” Varney said.
Trump has won on virtually every front and impeachment has become an embarrassment for Democrats, he argued.
“The economy is a triumph of tax and red-tape reforms. Iran’s in a box, China is in trouble and with nine months to the election, the president’s opponents are bitterly divided and, frankly, misguided,” Varney said.

He added that somebody should inform the Democrats that massive tax hikes and the fantasy land Green New Deal would be a disaster.
“[With] 276 days to the election, President Trump is riding high,” Varney concluded.
